When 3D Meets AI - CGI | VFX - T-REX, Jurassic Park by Stéphane Davi

New experiment: a T-Rex created with a hybrid workflow, where 3D is mainly used to set volumes and control positions.

The rendering and animation are then fully generated by AI through ComfyUI, delivering impressive realism in record time.
AI handles:

• ultra-realistic skin details
• lighting and material behavior
• motion dynamics
• the cinematic jungle atmosphere

Then I take over in compositing to finalize the image, stabilize the shots, and bring back a true “film” look.

This kind of workflow opens a new way of creating VFX:
3D guides, AI executes, and the artist stays in control.
